mha’s server, which hosts Wiibrew, is currently down for as of yet unknown reasons. HackMii was also partially affected as the static content (images/CSS) was also hosted there – I’ve temporarily moved those to the main server (please don’t kill my bandwidth too much), but only blog content is here, so file links / post images might be missing. hbc.hackmii.com is also on the same server and equally affected.
I’ll update this post with more information when I get it. In the meantime, no need to panic – we have no clue what’s up, but there’s no indication that it’s a malicious attack or anything like that.
Update: see the comments for mha’s information and a workaround.
Update: Everything should be back up and working.

Thanks for the heads up on wiibrew, I actually visited hackmii to see if there was any news. Lucky for me, now I know where to check for updates. π

I’ve put up a new reverse proxy for wiibrew.org and dsibrew.org.
Our DNS:es are however still out of sync, but should be stable until tomorrow.
If you have problems connecting you can put the following in your hosts file (/etc/hosts on *nix and c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts on windows, I think);
195.178.184.67 wiibrew.org dsibrew.org
miwi was unfortunatly going down right after I left the country, hence the extensive downtime. I’ll be back tomorrow and miwi will probably be online on monday.

Any chance of getting the ISO image of the latest Homebrew Channel Install Disc uploaded to http://marcansoft.com/uploads/hbc as well?

Oh, come on! it was down for a while 2 days ago, back up, and now its down again. I’m an expert at Apache, and I could take a look at it if its an Apache issue!

We’re not even using apache; lighttpd is a lot faster for a high traffic site like Wiibrew. The lighttpd is fine, but we have a varnishd cache on top and that’s what sometimes screws up.
