devkitPPC r15 now out

June 5th, 2008 by bushing · 5 Comments

Just a quick note to those who haven’t already seen this — devkitPPC r15 is now out.  Together with libogc-060208, there’s a tremendous amount of Wii goodness there for any developer.  Most (if not all) of the special features that we used in the Homebrew Channel — Stable Wiimote code, networking (including listening and non-blocking sockets), front SD slot support, argv support … and the list just goes on and on.   Many of these features were available if you were willing to hack on CVS versions, but this is a solid release that should result in a lot of nice homebrew apps in the coming weeks.

WinterMute and shagkur put a lot of hard work into this; give it a try and consider supporting the devkitPro project.

Also, check out that sexy OS X Leopard installer! 😉

CON_Init() seems to be ignoring the Y position parameter.
