Hi Bushing, just got some bugs???

- The Homebrew channel worked just great till today. When I started the application (wad installer, it wouldn't load... 0% isssue.
When I EXIT the Homebrew channel, the Channel goes off but the Wii stays powered on. Won't exit.

Well I was thinking this could happen, this is what I did:

- Scandisk the SDCard (Not working)
- Backuped all files on SDcard. -> Then Format
(Still not working) -> 0% issue still active.
- Other apps won't boot either.

Soooo..... REINSTALL the Homebrew Channel:

- Backup savegame Zelda
- Oh! Delete Homebrew Channel
- To computer, download Twilight Hack, backup own save game, insert Twilight Hack on SD.
- On Wii, copy Twilight Hack to Wii, from SD after deleting orginal savegame on Wii.
- Boot Zelda, Crash, Yay! Installer for Homebrew Channel.. =)

- Install Homebrew Channel.... -> Done Success!

Nooow... lets see of it powers off good again? No, it didn't.... so I guesss it won't load games either now =/

Im just telling you so you do whatever with it. But its an issue, and I love your channel.

Any ideas what causes this?
(-> I removed the GC controllers even that didn't work)

Hello bushing~. My name is wookil living in Seoul, Korea.
I don't know this is an exact site to tell my problem with wii. But I really want to get your answer.

Last month, you give "Semi-brick fix discs " to world's wii users. I was really happy to hear that news. But I just knew that that disc isn't support the new korea wii.

So, dear bushing, can you give korean wii user the "Semi-brick fix discs for korean region"?

I'll wait your answer~~.

Hey, maybe you could tell us how this: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=89833&st=0
is working. I mean you said it was HARD to downgrade the Wii's FW. It looks like Waninkoko is just deleting the Wii Menu files and installing an old Wii FW wad, probably extracted out of Trucha.

Also, what would happen if inbetween deleting the Wii Menu files and Installing the wad (when Waninkoko goes back to the HBC) if you turn off your wii. Probably a brick, right?

Also, can these tools be used to install custom FW. If waninkoko releases these tools, IOS37 won't be a problem! Just extract an update wad from a game with Trucha and you are on your way.

Please reply/write a blog entry about this.

Hey bushing!
Nice work out there on the Homebrew Channel!
It's not only a piece of software, it's a Homebrew Work of Art! (Give my kudos to the interface people!)
So, as I couldn't find another way of contating you, I'm sending a message here, OK?
What do you think of having a "Translation SDK" on the HBC? Something like a XML containing all the strings that the program uses. That would help all the people that are wanting to translate the HBC to their languages.
Anyway, if you think that it's not really viable, but you still want to translate the channel, don't hesitate to contact me. I can translate it to Brazilian Portuguese.
Thanks for your attention.

Sincerely,
Zero

Hello bushing!
I hope I don't going on your nervs^^ But I have a question related to reverse-engineering on Wii: How have you dumped the NAND? Which tools did you need (Software and Hardware?!) ? The NAND Dump of the Wii (2.9, I think) isn't available on gigeshare.com anymore. Please reupload the Dump if you can.

2nd question is: Can I connect my Wii to a PC? I have Win32 and a kind of Linux distribution (Debian).

Thanks for answering in advance,

Sincerely,
