Ok, nvm. Mangaged to fix it by downloading version 7 then upgrade it to 8.

Wesley, maybe you should try getting the other version to the one you are trying to install (assuming you havent already fixed your problem)

Hey, I’m having the same problem wesley does. I get the dsi error then a lot of numbers dumped. when i try to install using the twilight hack. I have a pal wii and am in Australia. I have installed emulators/vc stuff. Is it possible there is a conflict?

ok, so I downloaded the SceneOnFire pack from dcemu.co.uk and got that to boot properly. I’ll have to go look at what I did wrong.

It would be helpful if you could post the meta.xml tags and rules on the faq page or somewhere on the hbc website.

fixing the xml didn’t fix the problem. I am now going to try each program 1 by 1 and see if i can find the error.

Are there any restrictions on the number of folders in /apps or /root?

Thanks. I just went through and saw that a bunch of my s were longer than the 24 chars that I keep hearing about. They have been edited, and will be tested tomorrow when I wake up. I will post my results. Also, question. Did you know that it was a problem with the meta.xml files because of the timing of the code dump? or was that a guess? or are you one of the coders and know what was being stored in those specific memory locations.

The home menu is part of every game. It’s a library that is provided by Nintendo as part of the official SDK. We can’t use it, due to both technical and legal reasons.

@humor4fun:
That’s a crashdump. The most important part is the “->” chain. In particular, it seems that HBC died while trying to read one of the XML files. Double check them and see if you find anything out of place that might have caused the problem (and if you do, please tell us what it was). If you don’t see anything strange, please zip up the contents of your apps/ directory and send it to me so I can investigate it. My e-mail is marcan@marcansoft.com

Mr. Bushing sir: I love the channel. It looks well polished and works like a charm and if it were a person I’d like to marry it.

I’m just curious, though. Is it at all possible to have the home button bring up the menu that the home button brings up when in legit Wii software? You know what I mean, right? Is there an API y’all don’t have access to, or something else that keeps you from adding that functionality?
